Selected Research
As head of the IT team at the Department of Radiation Oncology, I led the successful digitalization of all processes and documentation, completed in 2019. This initiative provided valuable insights into the underlying clinical workflows and unmet needs, significantly enhancing operational efficiency.
My recent research is leveraging data science and machine learning to enhance our therapies, from automated tasks like segmentation or treatment planning to outcome models.
I am a lecturer at the Medical University of Vienna and a research fellow at Umeå University. Currently, I serve as the speaker for the Image-Guided Therapy Node within the Medical Imaging Cluster at the Medical University of Vienna.
